So, you're interested in becoming an Assistant Chaplain with BRHC? Perhaps you've been invited to consider taking on this role. Perhaps this has been stirring in you for a while. Whatever the reason and however it happened, you're on this page to get some work done!
The Assistant Chaplains Online Training Modules (ACOTMs) are a series of 6 Modules you work through in your own time, but designed to get you up and running as an Assistant Chaplain as soon as possible. Although the ACOTMs are designed to be completed in your time, they will complement the face-to-face Orientation Sessions you will also be part of.
Each of the 6 Modules corresponds with each week of the Orientation Session program.
- How do I complete the Modules?
Each of the 6 Modules will have a series of tasks that will require you to:
READ clickable documents here on the website and
CREATE your responses to these tasks.
Typically, you need to create a Word document to write up your task then, once completed, email your response to the address given.
- Will I be graded or marked on my responses?
While these Modules aren't intended to give you a letter grading (A, A+, A-, etc) or a PASS/FAIL, your responses will be commented on and discussed as part of the face-to-face sessions.
