Aged Care Church Services

Aged Care Church Services.  Where Church comes to you.

Picture

For many residents in aged care, some of their previous activities stop once they move in.  Not church services.

In many aged and specialised care venues around Ballarat, the Chaplaincy ministry provides or supports in-person aged care church services.  Once a month, volunteers from Ballarat's local Uniting Church congregations lead a short church service for residents.  These often involve familiar Bible readings, familiar hymns, familiar words and most importantly, familiar faces.

Across a regular month, Chaplaincy helps provide in-person church services to:
  • Calvary Care - Kirralee
  • Calvary Care - Kelaston
  • Royal Freemasons
  • James Thomas Court
  • W.B. Messer Hostel
  • PS Hobson
  • Jack Lonsdale Lodge
  • Steele Haughton Unit
  • Talbot Place
  • Nazareth House
  • Mercy Place
  • Pine View
  • Hailey House
If you know a resident in any of these venues, feel free to let them know about church services.
If you'd like to help in leading a church service, contact Andrew.
